Our latest event grant recipient is SanDiego350, an inclusive volunteer organization working to prevent the worst impacts of climate change and climate injustice. Their Party for the Planet volunteer appreciation event was a great success! Attendees loved the wide variety of delicious foods served and many expressed pleasant surprise that everything was vegan. “I thought we had plenty: abundance is key at parties like these,” said Steering Committee member Kim Kishon. “I was happy to see how far the money went!
